The Customs Department at Hyline Label is second to none with its performance in clearing and shipping cargo. It continues to win awards every year for Best Run Department with on time clearing of incoming raw materials, and prompt documentation and shipping for Exports. This Department is headed by Mahase Frank who ensured that Hyline Label was the first local company to comply with and use the recently introduced ASYCUDA on line system at Customs and Excise. We at Hyline, and our clients, have become accustomed to a high level of service from Mahase and his team.
We have been exporting to the Caribbean for over 20 years, and we know that our job is not complete just because an export job is finished printing. It still has to be packed for export, documented and sent to the freight forwarder. Even then, we do cannot take for granted that the shipment has left safely and on time, until we confirm and re-confirm with our freight forwarder that the carrier has indeed left with the cargo. Because cargo can be bumped, vessels sometimes do not sail, things can be trans-shipped, re-routed etc., we have to keep abreast of developments so our clients can be notified and kept up to date.
